A little about me

Hi, I’m Akilesh.

I work across software and AI, building intelligent systems that are meant to work in the real world—not just look good in a demo.

The path here

From building products to studying the machinery.

I started with full-stack and backend engineering, so I still care deeply about clean code, maintainable systems, and building things properly from end to end.

Over time, I kept getting pulled deeper into machine learning: model behaviour, inference, evaluation, and the engineering underneath modern AI. That is the part I enjoy most—understanding how things work, finding where they break, and making them genuinely useful.

Why I write

Notes for future me—and for anyone curious.

I write down what I learn because writing helps me think clearly, and because I know I will forget the useful details otherwise. This garden is my way of making the internals of AI less intimidating, more practical, and enjoyable even if you do not live inside research papers all day.

Away from the screen

A few other ways I reset.

Outside work, you will usually find me at the gym, playing chess or badminton, or going too deep into a technical rabbit hole I definitely did not plan to enter.
